This research study explores the use of theory and practice from the environmental management field to address the key need/issue which is to managing for uncertainty and constant change in the learning environment. The research study introduces resilience thinking, adaptive management and social-ecological systems analysis into management processes at an organisational level in the higher education context. Through research into these key aspects of environmental management, this study aims to develop theory and strategies for managing the technology-enhanced learning environment in educational organisations in the face of uncertainty and organisational change.
